  • Participated in meetings to discuss the Charter of the Foundation.
  • Spent time organising files, photography, documents referring to past associations with certain people and other organisations in preparation to digitalise all the collected information to bring it to a more modern organised and easily accessible platform for future projects and to establish a website that encapsulates the current, past, and future endeavours of what the Foundation intends to achieve.
  • Put up street art placards with "words of wisdom" on them designed by one of the Founders "Franklin Scarf". Out the front of a Big W centre to brighten dull spots in the town of Katoomba these were placed to explore public response and potentially advertise and sell them for a revenue to fund future projects of the Foundation.
  • Maintained the image and standard of the property to represent and set example of one of the main goals of the Charter which was to foster and encourage people to grow food forests in residential properties.
  • Brainstorming ideas for scripts to videos that show how to practically implement the ideas of the Charter into our daily life.

  • Attended weekly meetings to discuss progress and future initiatives.
  • Collaborated with 10 to 15 volunteers at a time running 10 day to 45 day silent meditation courses for over 150 students.
  • Cooking for all the students in an industrial kitchen, responding to students physical needs, assisting them to reach the teachers and assisting them with their valuables and communications to the outside world. Gardening and responding to any interruptions that the course may be experiencing to ensure the course runs smoothly.
  • Provided assistance to managers of the centre in the daily operations of the centre.
  • Attended working bees to develop and maintain the centre.

  • Working alongside residents of Greystanes Disability Services who are living with profound intellectual and physical disability.
  • Supporting their daily basic physical needs, assisting them where they need assistance and supporting them to participate, develop and maintain their capacity of meeting their own needs. This includes physical repositioning, fine motor skills for eating or participating in an activity like painting or washing up.
  • Daily Documentation of day spent to have an active record of the relationship and daily happenings for reference and to protect the employee in being able to advocate for things that happen in the day as the clients have regular seizures and concerning ailments that nurses and home staff need to know. Or in the case of a refusal of medication or a situation where the medication is missed.
  • Spending quality time with the residents and clients of Leura Day Options, do get to know them, what they like and to interact with them to find out opportunities of development that just needs encouragement and support to build capacity so that they can expand on their quality of life.
