Accumulated 14 weeks of invaluable hands-on experience across three placements, within clinical areas such as: Stroke/neurology, trauma, hepatobiliary, VIDS, orthopaedic and subacute: GEM and rehab. Throughout these placements I successfully consolidated my practical skills in:

  • Clinical assessment and therapeutic nutrition planning for patients with diverse medical conditions.
  • Perform malnutrition assessments such as SGAs and MSTs on patients independently.
  • Effective dietary counselling and communication with patients and carers.
