Summary

I joined the Royal Australian Navy in 2011. I conducted 6 years of training, including obtaining my Bachelor of Arts, qualifying as a Maritime Warfare Officer. In 2017 I deployed to Operation Manitou when I supported international efforts promoting maritime security, stability and prosperity in the Middle East and East Africa regions. On my return I spent two years as an instructor, teaching and mentoring junior Maritime Warfare Officers in their last phase of training before qualification. In 2020 I specialised as a Navigator when I was in charge of the safe navigation of the ship, training junior officers and managing a department on board the ship. I am a Workplace Behaviour advisor and Alcohol and Other Drug advisor. In these roles I provided mentorship, guidance and training to individual members from across the Navy, while also reporting to their chains of command on my findings and recommendations.

I discharged from the Navy in March 2023 and commenced a Bachelor of Paramedicine / Bachelor of Nursing. My GPA is currently 6.28.
