  • Travelling to and working in remote and regional areas of NSW to install the Telstra Fibre Optic Network. 10–12-hour shifts excluding travel to site.

  • Installing marker posts using jackhammer and completing engraving distance to cable and route direction. Taking compliance photos and uploading into OneDrive. Using locator to identify transponders along route to accurately measure distance between the buried fibre optic cables and marker post.
  • Proficient use of power tools – jackhammer, grinder, concrete diamond circular saw, renovator, hammer drill, engraver, hex screwdriver, and air compressor.
  • Driving and refuelling of the fuel truck with 3000L diesel tank. Filling of petrol jerry cans.
  • Maintaining all fleet assets - plant, trucks, and utes. Internal and external detailing, refuelling, air filter cleaning, and fluid top-ups.
  • Rubbish removal and site clean-up utilising tipper and functions.
