• Primary Health Placement on December 21, 2019, to 3rd January 2020 Lyell McEwin hospital (80hours)
• Assessed clinical data from diagnostic studies and previous records of the patients.
• Provided general nursing care in the areas of vital signs, ECG, wound care, BMI etc.
• Assessed different clinical data with different patient needs, breast, and endocrine, renal, orthopaedics, gastrointestinal, cardiology, oncology patients etc.
• Collaborated with medical interns, physiotherapists, dietitians, and social workers to address patient needs (referrals accordingly)
• Achievement: managed patient loads per shift, and confidently conducted preoperative checks under the supervision of an RN, able to recognise signs of deterioration and report to the RN
• Hospital Mental Health ward 1H on 25 January 2021 to 7 January 2021 at Lyell McEwin (81 hours)
• Observed different patient's mental conditions, behaviours and disorders, patient, and staff safety. (Learned how to use rescue tools in case of emergency, remove all the hazards around the patient)
• Reviewing patient's histories and linking that to how they understood the patient situation.

• Acute placement, 1D oncology ward. on 12 April 2021 to 7 May 2021 at Lyell McEwin hospital (169 hours)
• Admission and discharge assessment and monitoring patient's condition.
• Checking symptoms and vital signs arranging diagnostic tests
• Developing on going care plan, nursing notes.
• Administering IV drips, IV injection, IV infusion, blood transfusion and different types of medication, IDC, FBC, charts wound drainage wound dressing, PICC line dressing, NJT feeds etc.
• Checking and using specialised equipment such as monitors and ventilators.
• Working under the supervision of RN, collaborative work care with doctors and other multidisciplinary teams.
• Infection prevention MRSA, cytotoxic, droplets and contact precautions.
• Achievement: understands the overall role and responsibilities of an enrolled nurse and how to work under the EN scope of practice and how to provide best patient centred care.
