I am currently in my second year out of school, working at Blue Eye Seafood Restaurant and on our family farm, Parsons Bloomfield, continuing both these jobs from last year.
This year, I am interested in gaining more experience working on a farm/station, as I enjoy working in Agriculture and therefore would love to broaden my knowledge and skills in this area. I have completed a Low Stress Stock-handling course, with both sheep and cattle, with this the only bit of experience I have had working with cattle. I am eager to work on a cattle station to strengthen these skills and to also show more competence working in the cattle industry.
In my first year out of school, also went backpacking Europe for three and a half months by myself. Due to this experience, and also being a boarder for six years, this has allowed me to develop independence, organisational skills, and leadership, and can develop relationships with people from all over the globe.
I have a strong passion for learning, which makes me adaptable to any situation, committed, and eager to give everything a go.
