Compassionate and empathetic Registered nurse seeking employment and available to start work immediately. I have a strong background in aged care and disability support work previous to becoming a nurse, having worked as a carer and disability support worker for many years which has provided me with excellent interpersonal and communication skills. I received my AHPRA registration in April 2024 and have been working in the aged care sector since June in nursing homes in Hobart. I am looking to expand and gain as much experience as possible in a variety of healthcare settings.
Alongside working at Queen Victoria, I have been working for an agency who have been sending me to a Salvation army nursing home called Barrington Lodge. I have been working here full time for a month and it has provided me with more invaluable experience to put into practice the skills I have learnt in aged care nursing over the last 8 months.
