Volunteer Experience

08/2022-08/2022, JIWA garden Bali, Bali, indonesia, Learn about growing food and permaculture at JIWA garden Bali, indonesia This is a green oasis in Canggu to gather, garden and grow. On around 45 are (4,500m2) of previously unproductive land, the team turns organic waste into fertile compost, produces organic vegetables and fruits, free-range eggs and offers a space in nature for the community to unwind. Most recently, our garden built a Permaculture Learning Center that aims to conserve local wisdom and share regenerative agriculture practices with Bali's communities. A day a Jiwa: tasks vary depending on the day. We usually begin the day turning compost or cleaning the chicken house. After this, we help in the garden alongside the rest of the team.
