Accomplishments

  • Increased productivity by 500% over 8 months for retrospective appointment setting which Public Health received funding for.
  • Increased funding and support paid directly to the Public Health Unit from $62,000 to $385,380 per month.
  • Implemented substitutes for single use plastic onboard across the Qantas fleet, resulting in 4 million less single use plastic items as of March 2020.
  • Implemented new waste streams onboard Qantas domestic flights which will divert 30 million plastic cutlery packs and 21 million coffee cups from landfill on the first year.
  • Worked with third party suppliers to remove plastic packaging from Qantas' rotable cutlery which diverted 8 tons of waste from landfill in the first year.
  • Facilitated testing to implement plastic free textiles in all cabins onboard reducing 30kgs of plastic used per week.
  • Categorised over 1000 onboard Qantas products to facilitate contingency planning due to coronavirus restrictions.
  • Continuous engagement with frontline Qantas staff to ensure a safe working environment.
  • Collaborated with Dreamworld's Creative Team to implement 11 new shows in three weeks resulting in record NPS scores for 2016.
