Key responsibilities - collecting vaccines from designated hub, maintaining cold chain and documenting as per protocol, preparing and administering vaccines on site and returning surplus vials to hub. Uploading patient details to AIR. Managing consumables.

After hours in charge of hospital responsible for supervising nursing activities and comprehensive patient care delivery. Manage acute care situations and liaise with emergency services to enable the transfer of patients to higher levels of care when necessary. Undertake incident investigations and provide reports as required. Support nursing staff in ensuring the provision of optimal patient care. Utilise roster software to generate and amend reports required for daily staffing. Currently working part time and relief in this position.

Employed as a registered nurse primarily in Addiction Services and Mood and Eating Disorders. Conducted groups focused on recovery, implemented a program whereby patients could attend external groups and was regularly in charge of the unit. Participated in weekly MDT meetings to facilitate comprehensive assessment of patient care plans and respond accordingly. Completed admissions and engaged in discharge planning.

Employed as a mental health nurse across all associated units - Mental Health Intensive Care, Psychiatric Emergency and general mental health units.
