Alivia Height

My name is Alivia Height, I am 15 years old and I live in Burleigh Water QLD. I am currently looking for a part-time casual job as I have lived on the Gold Coast all my life and love the lifestyle and opportunities available. I have been a member of the Varsity Vipers under 15 basketball team in the Division 2 - A team. I am fit, active and enjoy a challenge. After school I love to go rock-climbing for exercise and to gain strength and build determination. However, I am mostly passionate about fashion as, during my free time, my hobbies include sewing and redesigning clothes which helps calm nerves and keeps me with a healthy and positive mindset. One day I aspire to become a psychologist or to work in the field of psychology as the mind and behaviour really fascinates me and I have always naturally wished to help improve the health and wellbeing of others. I would really appreciate an opportunity to be apart of your team to learn new skills and to meet new people.

Ever since I was 3 years old my family have taken many trips camping all around Australia. We have visited places such as Uluru, Lightning Ridge, Stanthorpe and many other locations. Camping teaches important life skills such as dealing with nature's surprises fosters patience and perseverance, helping campers stay calm under pressure, and working together on tasks like setting up tents promotes teamwork and communication. As well, every location has provided me with knowledge of different cultures which is a great way of consuming new information and viewing things differently.
