With 47 years of experience in the nursing field, I have held various positions in the NHS, private hospitals, nursing homes, nursing agencies, and as a health educator, community nurse, and tutor/mentor. I have gained valuable experience in urban and rural settings. I have teaching and assessors\' qualifications that I use to train nurses and care assistants. I prioritize quality patient care, emphasizing dignity, privacy, and independence in all healthcare settings. Since March 2009, I have been an integral member of the Orthopedics Team at The Princess Alexandra Hospital in Brisbane, Australia. I also work part-time on the Acute Pain Management Team, collaborating with senior anaesthetists to expand my knowledge of pain management medication. In the Orthopaedic Unit, I mentor and facilitate both permanent staff and new graduates. I have experience in Trauma HDU and completed a Surgical Rotation Program focusing on Hepato-Biliary Surgery, Burns, Plastics, and ENT. This has enhanced my surgical expertise in Orthopaedics. As a case manager on Wards 2A/2B, I coordinate patient discharges and necessary services in the community. Throughout my career, I adhere to company policies and procedures to ensure compliance with all rules and regulations within my scope of practice.
