Currently, I am looking to focus on providing psychology services to young people and adults facing challenges with their physical health, social and/or mental health, including chronic illness, pain, cancer, trauma, grief and loss, eco distress, anxiety, depression and suicidality, adjustment difficulties, workplace stress, sexuality and identity issues, parenting and family challenges.

  • Responsibility for the management of a team of 8.5FTE allied health staff including recruitment, performance appraisal and development, leave, workload management, operational supervision and workforce development
  • One of a team of three health managers for a providing specialist pain management services for paediatrics and adults across five Hospital & Health Service's in North Queensland
  • Key lead in the development and delivery of a model of care for the service, and ongoing service development including the initiation of allied health services in Cairns and Mackay, development and delivery of patient, staff and primary health care provider education seminars/ workshops, as well as a pain management group programs
  • Provision of clinical psychology assessment and treatment to persistent pain management clients including both group and individual work. Clinical consultation liaison role in the delivery of allied health services to clients
