  • Commenced a traineeship in 2021, working full time onsite. My Roles and responsibilities within my scope of practice are as follows;

  • I am the Manual handling 'champion,' trained face-to-face through Garrawarra, focuses on teaching safe techniques to a multidisciplinary team for assisting patients with mobility, including lifting, transferring, Equipment use and repositioning, while minimizing the risk of injury to both the patient and the staff.
  • Participate in continuing education programs to stay up-to-date on latest developments in healthcare technology and practices.
  • Observe behavioral changes in patients that may indicate the need for further medical evaluation or intervention .
