Project involvement: Worked on various Construct Only and Design & Construct Projects including Western Sydney Airport (Airside Civil & Pavement works), Western Sydney Airport (Landside Civil & Building works), Newell Highway (Parkes Bypass), Newell Highway Heavy Duty Pavements (Narrabri to Moree) and Molonglo River Bridge & John Gorton Drive Extension.

Key responsibilities:

• Using Expert Estimation Software to build estimates for a given scope of works.
• Using first principles to price Drainage aswell as pricing packages such as Landscaping, Environmental Management and Road Furniture.
• Participating in line-by-line Final Review Meetings which involve the National Estimating Manager and the wider team.
• Analysing project scope documents to gain a strong understanding of technical aspects/requirements of a project.
• Engaging with Subcontractors/Suppliers to discuss project requirements and obtain quotes.
• Preparing quantity take-offs for civil works components.
• Assisting with preparation of Board Review Presentations.

Worked as a Site Engineer in Earthworks at the Northern Road Upgrade Stage 3 Project.

Key responsibilities:

• Managed the road widening and upgrade of the Ramps which tie into the M4 Motorway (Penrith), ensuring compliance with design, project specifications, environmental, sustainability and traffic considerations.
• Completed quality documentation control for site production using a Lendlease Data Management System.
• Worked in accordance with various RMS standards and liaised with multiple stakeholders to ensure that works were compliant and could achieve their intended purpose.
• Raised 'Requests for Information' (RFI's) to the client when presenting more cost-effective or sustainable construction design ideas for approval.
• Planned activities on a daily and weekly basis to achieve scope for the month and motivated staff to achieve set targets.
• Carried out inspections and supervised defect works.
• Undertook monthly cost controlling and forecasting for Subsoil Drainage then presented financial movements to Senior Management.

Involvement in various Project Tenders, enabled me to develop a great eye for detail and the ability to foster positive working relationships with clients.

Key responsibilities:

• Prepared quantity take-offs as part of the bidding process, using partially complete or in process design drawings for varied Project Scopes.
• Managed work packages using BidContender and liaised with a multitude of subcontractors to handle RFI's and collect tender quotes to put together a tender comparison analysis.
• Solely handled procurement for a project valued at $500 million, while the Procurement Manager was on leave.
• Reviewed contract documents, drawings, and specifications to understand project scopes, constraints, and construction tolerances.
• Achieved Stellar Recognition Award for living the Lendlease core value of Excellence after presenting a Project Overview to Senior Management.

Worked in Tunnel Back-End-Works, in the Benching, Trenching and In-Ground Service Installation (BTIS) department at Northconnex.

Key responsibilities:

• Created daily shift reports and interpreted reports to calculate and monitor weekly spoil amounts, production rates and delay forecasts within scope of works.
• Provided technical support onsite regarding drainage and LV services/Pits installation and ensured that operational activities were being performed in compliance with safety standards.
• Managed daily concrete orders for team ensuring that timing and supply quantity were well coordinated.

Key responsibilities:

• Educated customers on the full range of products and services available at Optus.
• Dealt with contracts to ensure customers understood specifications of different services.
• Resolved customer issues and handled complaints through sophisticated negotiation skills.

Key responsibilities:

• Reviewed Master Plans to assess impacts of proposed construction and provide strategies to mitigate potential traffic concerns.
• Involvement in assessing maintenance schedule for Council infrastructure by looking through asset register and liaising with Restorations and Maintenance Planning team.
• Successfully proposed and executed new Council bench to replace neglected bus shelter that was receiving complaints from residents.
• Used historical data to assess areas for potential road design improvements and developed solutions.
