• ZenOSS is OSS monitoring application based on Python with networking capabilities.
• Conducted workshops with Network Engineers to gather information on devices that to be monitored.
• Analyzed requirements and designed monitoring solution.
• Developed capabilities to monitor device metrics and alert other platforms if a slip is detected.
• The collected device metrics are initially stored in OpenTSDB and ETLed to MySQL database. DB Scripts are written to aggregate data/device metrics from ETL tables and later used for reporting.
• Capabilities supports device monitoring through SNMP and HTTP, also integrates with SD-WAN platforms.
• As part of environment upgrade, created Bash scripts that can be executed within the Docker containers and played a major role in migration process by reducing repetitive and manual jobs.
• Unit testing using Python frameworks prevented defects and reduced superfluous deployments.
• Application service logs are monitored and issues are debugged using Kibana dashboard.

• Physical Network Inventory (PNI) is an enterprise platform that stores, processes, and manages the Physical network data of NBN.
• Data from different datasources were extracted, transformed and loaded into database using capabilities developed in Python and AWS solutions. Also developed features for consumers to update and export the loaded data.
• Anchored workshops for requirement elicitation, analysis and translation to performance-focused solutions with a strong emphasis on solid documentation standards.
• Designed Solutions to handle various requirements of the humongous and complex data whilst ensuring cost and performance are always at a balance.
• Implemented maintainable and modular functionalities with easy plug and play capabilities thereby ensuring maximum efficiency in code reusability and scalability.
