Summary

Contributing to the long-term education and wellbeing of children and families is important to me. During my career as a Kindergarten Teacher, I have strived to ensure children have been supported to develop the necessary life skills they need to be life long learners.

Currently supporting children and families in a Key Worker capacity at a company called Jenover I have been further developing my skills in assessment and program development, especially with younger children. Designing appropriate programs and delivering these programs individually and providing further information and education to families; making referrals as needed and tailoring the children's learning to meet identified goals are some of the work that I undertake.

Most recently working at Golden Plains as Nominated Supervisor, I wrote Quality Improvement Plans, designed programs and maintained an engaging learning environment for children. Keeping families informed about the educational program was a priority. Newsletters, emails and social media publications ensured that the community was kept informed. Participating in comprehensive professional development on trauma informed practice, emotional regulation skills and the Abecedarian approach, I also most recently trained in Occupational Health and Safety.
