Amanda Cachia

I became a Kindergarten Teacher (4 Year old room) In August of 2020. Throughout this time I have been able to further my skills and knowledge to provide the best possible learning opportunities for my students. I have been a mentor for past students studying their Bachelor and Diploma. This role required me to:

• Enhanced classroom management by establishing clear expectations, rules, and routines.
• Assisted in creating a safe and nurturing classroom environment that promoted emotional well-being and academic growth for all students.
• Collaborated with colleagues to share resources, brainstorm ideas, and problem-solve challenges faced in the classroom environment.
• Implemented differentiated instruction strategies to meet the diverse learning needs of all students.
• Utilized assessment data to modify instruction and target areas of weakness for individual students.
• Monitored and evaluated student progress through regular assessments and observations.
• Evaluated student progress regularly through formative assessments to inform instructional decisions.

I had the pleasure of working at Goodstart as a Senior Educator (Room Leader) for 10 years. Throughout this time I have been a room leader in various age groups working in nursery, Toddler and Pre Kindergarten Rooms. The Skills I have gained throughout this time are:
