I have dreamt since year 8 to become a midwife. I have completed the necessary tertiary education. Excelled in my ability to provide women-centred care and strived through the long hours of placement and research assessments to get to where I am today. I am skilled at identifying physiological births. Quick to master new skills. Caring and well-trained with my center focus on the women and her baby. Can confidently coordinate calm, stress-free births whilst balancing appropriate techniques with consent and in respect of the woman's personal desires. I am able to utilise my critical problem solving skills to react quickly in emergent situations. Can work well in a multidisciplinary team to provide the most appropriate care for the woman and her baby.
- Working out and keeping my body fit is very important to me. Gym sessions 2-3 times a week. Engage in circuit, weight based and cardio training.
- Belly dancing. I mostly do this for fun and it's a good workout. It is apart of my culture and I have grown up always loving to dance.
- I love to bake. Any opportunity that I get free time, I'll have my apron on and my cookbook out!
- I love to read. I enjoy reading research content about midwifery but my comfort is romance or fantasy where I can escape from this world and live a different life for a few chapters.
