  • Use, “My Time Our Place Framework”, from The National Quality Framework to assist in developing and providing an environment which engages children to use open ended play, whilst learning. This learning is then channelled through to StoryPark, for parent interaction.
  • Providing basic first aid, then needing to record and report injuries/incidents to legal guardians
  • Ensuring meals prepared are sufficient for all children, while also considering their dietary requirements and following hygiene practices, prior, during and, after cooking
  • Encourage and implement health and hygiene practices for children to follow.
  • Ensure all areas are safe for children with high level of supervision; whilst ensuring the educator to child rations are met; meaning doing regular head counts, even before official head counts to ensure we are under the correct ratio.
  • Perform a high level of communication with both legal guardians (Both in English and Spanish) and staff, for example; ensuring parents are aware of children’s behaviour and performance during our care; including those little achievements done throughout the day!
  • Assist and support children with additional help, including those who have ADHD, or children who are visually impaired or have a hearing impairment.
