Since commencing my employment at Yardbird I have demonstrated skills and learnt to:

• Set and clean dining areas to ensure its readiness for customers.
• Reduce food wait times by taking completed order from the kitchen to the appropriate tables and person.
• Working collaboratively as a team to ensure accuracy of orders, whilst also to create a happy and inclusive atmosphere for the costumers and fellow staff members.
• I have managed multiple tasks and quickly learning a variety of skills such as; running food, listening to customers concerns and queries, learning about the food we provide, ect. These skills more help me in be on top of the dynamic work place. Almost confident in the three plate carry ;)

I previously worked at Clean Bowled in Bright from January 2021 - April 2021 but I transferred to the owners other business (Bright Burgerville) and continued work there.

• Clean Bowled has required me to gain excellent skills in customer service in order to upsell menu items to the appropriate costumers and their needs.
• Not only have I gained skills in collaborating with team members for a smooth and effective working environment but i have gained several friendships within the workspace.
• As Clean bowled is family owned business meaning communication between staff members and boss's is excellent and vital when suggesting ideas or resolving problems within the store.
• Handling cash transactions and performing financial reporting at the end of the day was a task I learnt to execute and carry out.
• Prepped food, followed recipes.
• Set up advertising signs and displays on shelves, counters and tables.
• Developed strong relationships with regular customers, leading to increased loyalty and repeat business.

Burgerville is a fast-pace environment as the food is expected to be 'fast food'. This meant quick thinking and acting is crucial. Other skills are:

• Using a POS system to put through customers orders.
• Managed time to juggle multiple tasks simultaneously with ease.
• Chopped vegetables, and prepared sauces when kitchen staff was busy.
• Transported food items from storage areas to kitchen for prepping.
• Followed recipes and chef instructions to prepare food correctly.
