Volunteer Work, including:

  • Working in a Pre-school in 2018 as part of my Duke of Edinburgh award, where I was required to engage in voluntary service.
  • In 2018 I was part of All Saints African Tutoring, which involved attending other primary schools and tutoring primary school children from diverse cultural backgrounds.
  • In 2019, I was selected for my High Schools Cambodia immersion trip, which involved flying overseas to build homes in disadvantaged villages and teaching Cambodian children at a primary school.
  • Engaging in these opportunities allowed me to develop new skills and improve communication as being able to interact with children of a variety of ages and diverse cultures enabled me to accommodate the needs of children with differing mental capabilities and language skills.
