My most current role is General Manager - Product & Commercial and Line 1 Risk and Compliance, looking after a $2.8bn consumer lending portfolio across Australia and New Zealand. Responsibilities in this role include:

• Full P&L accountability including driving revenue growth, operational expenditure savings and loss reduction strategies.
• Leadership of a team across Australia and New Zealand (including Product Management, Product Delivery, Product Operations, Product Owners/Business Analysts and Risk and Compliance Specialists).
• Leading Product Strategy and Delivery across multiple products/geographies including both secured/unsecured products (this includes execution of the Roadmap and Strategic priorities, with endorsement by the Board).
• Portfolio Management (including Cross-Sell Strategies).
• White Label Partner Management
• Line 1 Risk and Compliance, including Regulatory responsibilities (DDO - AU, CCCFA - NZ), Operational Risk and Remediation, Control testing and Quality Assurance.
• (Indirectly) Leading and influencing cross-functional teams to support the Product Vision, including Marketing, Operations, Risk, Technology and 3rd party distribution.

My key achievements in this role include:

• Leading the Go To Market workstreams to deliver our Lending Transformation program of work (post acquisition of another company). This program full transformed our technology (moving from main frame to cloud technology), reshaped our end to end customer/broker experience, moved our entire business operations to a new cloud based platform, and was delivered within 2 years (including the migration of ~200k customers).
• Growing our market share in Australia to 2nd biggest Lender (receivables) and 1st in New Zealand.
• Driving Opex reductions (both direct and indirect) of 10%+ by automating our originations and decisioning processes to near straight through processing.
• Driving our Pricing strategies which achieved a NIM uplift of 250bps within a 12 month period.
• Delivering customer and partner experience uplift resulting in 40+pts uplift to NPS.

• Executing the Product Roadmap
• Portfolio Management
• Developing Pricing Recommendations
• Product Development (including market and customer research) and Lifecycle development
• Understanding the Regulatory Landscape

Key achievements in this role included:

• Re-imagining our customer and partner experience by solving key paint points for them, including delivering an up front quotation tool, to allow them to see what their interest rate/payments would be before applying (and hitting their credit file).
• Delivering a new and differentiated product in the Australian and New Zealand markets (the first of it's kind) which provided customers with an interest free period on their personal loan.
• Leading and innovation exercise with an industry leader (Amazon) to redesign our customer and employee experience to drive faster outcomes, automate manual processes and ultimately reduce cost for the business.
