As a newly qualified educator, I am eager to apply my knowledge and skills in a practical setting and gain new insight within an early childcare centre. I am a patient and empathetic person who enjoys caring for children and forming respectful relationships while guiding them to develop vital skills. I recently completed a first aid course, including CPR, asthma, anaphylaxis, and basic injury training. During my 6 weeks of work placement, I aided in areas such as food handling, rest times, supervision, cleaning and sanitation as well as planning, implementing and evaluating experiences for individual and groups of children whilst following regulations, learning frameworks and workplace policies and procedures.
