  • Joined the business and worked with the marketing teams of various trade show events preparing and designing a range of printed and digital marketing collateral to support the promotion of upcoming events.
  • Production of flyers, business cards, posters, registration forms, event booklets and catalogues.
  • Arranged and co-ordinated printing checking and approving proofs and colour.
  • Created online advertising banners for the various trade shows, exhibitions and events utilising a range of software programs including Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign.
  • Assigned to work on major event ThinkGP which was a completely different style of event from others run by Reed with a greater focus on educational programs and content targeting the medical profession. Provided graphic art support in developing educational materials and a range of marketing collateral for the event this included:
  • Worked with the event team to complete design work for the online education program using the Articulate program.
  • Utilised various formats and files to support the ThinkGP trade shows.
  • Created artwork for flyers.
  • Created images to embed into the articulate education programs.
  • Transposed content from powerpoint manuscripts into the education content.
  • File creation and clean up in preparation of lists for the upcoming newsletters and headers.
  • Undertook an extensive array of new work in streamlining and defining new methods to enhance user engagement and utilised a forward thinking approach looking at the wider strategic overview and provided strategies to improve or speedup the required timeline which was required to deliver the optimum outcome for the event.
  • Maintained a database of the activities from previous years so that these could pre-empt options ahead of other upcoming events.
  • Proven expertise in managing major projects and delivering to specific job tasks and projects at the highest design level.
  • Expertise in web marketing including banner on the top and product images and a range of different advertisers who were promoting their products on the ThinkGP website.

  • Utilised artistic skills to develop creative concepts for the projects and then put these into implementation.
  • Clients included Pfizer, and a range of other pharmaceutical and medical businesses.
  • For Pfizer account undertook web marketing, development of flyers - (printed and digital), creation of new logos for new products and the on-pack branding.
  • Web marketing - created a range of printed material including invitations to events and flyers on products.
  • During conferences and events was responsible for the design and production of all marketing collateral material and was responsible for the quality control checking of all material before approving the proofs for print.
  • Allocated the briefs from the manager with a detailed brief outlining the priorities and scope of the design and creative work which the client wanted to have completed.

  • Provided Alfa Romeo car advertising and provided images of the various Alfa Romeo vehicles and created bespoke advertisements from the material to fit the brief.
  • Provided for the MacCarroll's automotive dealerships and provided advertisements for both local community newspapers.
  • Undertook the layout and formatting for the 100-page Crisco Christmas Hamper catalogue which took 2.5 months work to develop the catalogue from the initial layout to print. This included undertaking deep etching for many of the graphic images.
  • Modus was a small graphic design consultancy with a high level of creative scope.

  • Created a billboard advertisement for Software Ag which was located at the Sydney Airport in line with the clients brief and developed a cut through advertisement promoting Software AG.
  • Worked on a network internet security product and designed the full-page advertisements for the product which ran in the IT Magazine.

  • Worked on a range of advertising projects including work for Nestle which included designing and producing small booklets which were provided internally to staff and was focused on understanding chocolate and how it was made and the upcoming products which were due to be released.

  • Created an emergency design job for an organisation.
  • Worked on an emergency design job changing a set of guidelines for an organisation when the government changed the law and this was required to be done overnight with various changes to legislation.
  • Approximately 200 pages of very dry and basic information.
