  • Managed forecast of entire Mars Food Portfolio in Coles nationally (~50 promotable groups).
  • Managed Sales Forecast to accuracy of +/-75% and BIAS of +/-5.
  • Strong influencing skills and collaboration with account managers, the wider sales team and supply planners.
  • Strong rapport with Coles demand planner and collaboration with Supply team through collaboration meetings.
  • Responsible for the "period call" where we forecast landing position for the Mars Period, reporting any expected over or under delivery to forecast and provide commentary around the result.
  • Conduct forecast reviews with account managers, using analysed market trends and demand drivers (weather, key events etc) to predict ex-factory demand and influence forecasting for promotions.
  • Accurate forecasting of pipe fills for NPD and PDQ volume for off locations and activations.

Plant Accountant/Supply Business Partner

The Plant Accountant / Supply Business Partner is a key business partner to stakeholders within the Manufacturing,

Engineering and Operations functions. The role seeks to both support and challenge Supply by providing accurate, timely and relevant reporting as well as analysis and insight to help to drive efficiency, productivity and improved financial outcomes for the business.

  • Complete period end close and reconciliations in line with the Finance manual whilst maintaining a continuous improvement mindset to streamline period close.
  • Provide Supply team with accurate and relevant financial performance reporting each period end and ensure all period end reporting is effectively communicated with opportunities and risks identified.
  • Partner with key stakeholders in Supply, Engineering and Operations to forecast year end estimate, annual budgeting, productivity activities and fixed budget planning and analysis.
  • Support the Engineering team to plan spend, phasing and capitalize CAB in line with the Finance Manual, ensure regular Fixed Asset stock takes and proper handling of Fixed Asset disposals.
  • Ensure fair and accurate conversion cost allocations in reporting system through periodic review of all relevant lines and the standards necessary to facilitate these allocations.
  • Drive continuous improvement in systems, reporting and processes, challenging existing procedures to eliminate manual processes where possible and drive efficiency.
  • Support the Supply Team with our Internal Control compliance.
