• Key accountabilities: Collection, analysis and dissemination of intelligence reports and briefings for senior management, providing advice on results of intelligence gathering, including identification and evaluation of emerging threats, opportunities, patterns and trends which affect the security and good order of Youth Justice and correctional facilities or management of offenders in the community
• Supporting Youth Justice and Corrections Victoria (CV) Management, staff and external agencies by assisting with development and planning of intelligence-led operations
• Liaising with external stakeholders and law enforcement agencies in relation to information that may impact on other YJC's or the broader community
• Attending meetings as required including weekly Tasking and Co-ordination Meetings with Prison Operations
• Identifying risks regarding young person associations and analysis and dissemination of information obtained
• Providing a technical resource for managers through provision of tactical advice and systems expertise
• Producing intelligence products and briefings that inform decision-making and Youth Justice operational activities
• Contributing to monitoring of telephone systems for young people, and analysis and dissemination of information obtained.
• Mentoring of all new Intelligence Staff, providing guidance and assistance
• Participating in the creation of an induction package for new Intelligence Officer team members
• Assisting in development and delivery of intelligence-based training for Youth Justice staff
• Prison Liaison Portfolio Member - Creating Intelligence Alert Summaries and engaging with stakeholders from Prison Intelligence Units
• Undertaking Training as required, most recently completing Writing For Government: Keeping it Clear training program.

• Key accountabilities: Managing day-to-day functional activities of up to eight Prison Officers
• Planning and prioritising work of myself and others to ensure targets were achieved within organisational guidelines
• Managing caseloads of offenders in accordance with the requirements of offender management practices in a trauma informed manner
• Proactively building and maintaining positive relationships with peers, managers and stakeholders both within and external to the Department of Justice and Community Safety
• Maintaining high quality documentation in relation to case files, offender assessments and report preparation
• Communicating with and giving directions to offenders in a respectful and motivational manner, responding to prisoner complaints or requests and providing pro-active assistance and guidance to offenders as required
• Complying with relevant legislation, policies and procedures
• Working with all members of the prison to ensure the safety and security of prisoners, staff and visitors
• Demonstrating an interest in and an appreciation of a range of different cultures and actively seeking to understand and effectively address the issues and views of others
• Regular patrols, dynamic security undertakings and reporting of emerging threats, opportunities, patterns and trends
• State Training Group (STG) member - Completed Rescuing from heights and other tactical training quarterly
• Emergency Response Group (ERG) member - Completed regular tactical training
• Greyhound Adoption (GAP) portfolio holder.

Key Accountabilities:

• Build and develop relationships with clients, sales representatives, GP's, specialists and pharmacists to ensure best patient outcomes.
• Advocate for the natural therapies industry, engaging in evidence-based dialogue with the wider community at events to build awareness and credibility of herbal medicine and supplements as a treatment option.
• Business development: Sales of products to clients, communicating benefits of remedies, marketing and relationship building.
• Tailor information and education at appropriate levels for specific patient needs.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of all prescribed products, monitoring latest evidence-based research.
• Day to day running of clinic.
• Strong interpersonal skills during patient consultations.
• Maintaining detailed and accurate case histories.
• Reviewing medical histories and physical findings.
• Development of treatment plans according to patients needs.
• Prescribing medications as per treatment plans.
