Placement Experience

2021- 18 days at Windsor State School - Assessment and intervention for speech and language in Paediatric clients

2022 - 12 days at Queen Elizabeth II Jubilee Hospital (acute inpatient caseload) – Assessment of speech, language and swallowing for adult patients.

2023 – 6 weeks full-time at Hervey Bay Hospital (acute inpatient caseload) – Assessment and Intervention of speech, language and swallowing for adult patients with paediatric feeding observations.

2023 – 6 weeks full-time at JCU Rural and Remote Health Service Emerald- Screened school students, prepared intervention for whole class and some individual students and built capacity of staff across speech, language and literacy. This placement was a partnership between JCUCQCRRH and Education Queensland to provide a gap in service for Blackall SS (Prep - year 12). The focus of the placement was within the Prep - year 4 class rooms.
