- Enhance guest experiences by providing informative and engaging trail tours.
- Collaborate with other tour guides to provide comprehensive and enjoyable experience.
- Ensure the safety of all participants through thorough pre-tour briefings, assisting riders mount and attentive guidance during trails.
- Utilize effective communication and problem-solving skills to quickly resolve customer issues.
- Educate visitors about local flora and fauna through engaging presentations at designated stops along the trails.
- Build personal relationships with guests to promote positive experiences.
- Guided groups of up to 9 people on scheduled tours (up to 14 with another guide)
- Delivered timely and accurate updates to tour coordinator regarding tour progress.
- Provide first aid assistance when necessary, applying appropriate care measures until professional help arrives if needed.
- Catching, grooming, saddling and feeding horses at the start of the day.
- Untacking and washing horses down at the end of the day.
- Attending to other duties around the property, e.g cleaning tack, fixing fences/setting paddocks.
- Bringing horses in at the start of the day with basic skills on a motorbike including running them out at the end of the day.
- Clean amenities
- Check-in customers/clients
- Dealing with unexpected horse behaviour
- Attention to horses health/wellbeing
- Experience in riding young horses
