• Working collaboratively with the project team to deliver the MEICA construction of waste water treatment works: Project values typically between £100,000 - £3,000,000
• Facilitated smooth handover processes between stakeholders by preparing detailed final account statements reflecting actual expenditures versus initial estimates.
• Carrying out NEC4 contract administration whilst controlling and providing estimates for compensation events/variations to the contract
• In charge of ensuring payment from the client through monthly payment applications (roughly 20 live applications at all times)
• Internal finance tracking and control, including reporting & forecasting
• Creating healthy relationships with subcontractors, supply chain, client and stakeholders/shareholders

• Sending out enquiries to supply chain
• Estimating labour, plant and materials for refurbishment fit outs and maintenance works
• Pricing and submitting professional quotes to clients
• Developing excellent working relationships with clients, suppliers and sub-contractors
• Procuring materials and plant
• Allocating and booking labour in with clients
• Drawing up drainage surveys on 2D autocad for submission to clients

• During my time at O'Hare construction I measured drawings through BIM software, sourced quotes from subcontractors, and for materials
• I provided estimations for residential refurbishments using measurements and different rates
• I assisted the senior quantity surveyor in his everyday duties within the office including preparing weekly cost reports, and the maintenance of site records
• This work was part time 1 day a week whilst I was studying for my degree

• I assisted Owen Smyth (Joiner) as a labourer on residential building sites during the summers
• I completed general site duties such as sweeping floors, putting rubbish into skips, and help placing and lifting materials and tools
