Enthusiastic Family Services Mentor (Early Intervention and School Based units) with over fifteen years’ experience working with children and their families. This experience encompasses leading individual family sessions, to online group sessions, to designing and training staff in effective methodologies when working alongside families.
Additionally I possess a very well-developed understanding of developmental disabilities, with an exceptional knowledge of Autism Spectrum Disorders and its correlating strengths and deficits. I have designed numerous learning plans for students with ASD within early intervention programs across a range of developmental domains whilst always prioritizing well-being and agency.
I hold a Bachelor of Counseling. During my tertiary studies I had the opportunity to complete a placement providing both one to one and co-facilitating group bereavement counseling to individuals who had experienced a sudden or traumatic death within their family.
The roles have all contributed to my development of an incredibly strong work ethic, adaptability, and exceptional interpersonal skills.
