I am a year 12 student preparing for my HSC in 2025, and my end goal is to become a general practitioner, by graduating in the rural medical college, UNSW.
I have participated in various mentally and physically oriented extra curricular activities. I participated in various chess tournaments against other schools and individually, in conjunction with the Sydney academy of chess. In these events I was able to win a multitude of medals for finishing in the top 5 players in most tournaments, whilst winning 1st place in the a Bondi chess competition. I have also played for over 2 years at the local Sawtell RSL chess club against adults in my youth, and participated in tournaments. By participating in chess events, I gained the ability to concentrate on important tasks, whilst paying attention to various details; which I hope to transfer to when I work at Grafton Chemist warehouse.
In the same vein I have been an avid enjoyer of tennis and ping pong; attending Grafton tennis club and Coffs Harbour table tennis club. I have participated in weekly lessons whilst attending the Grafton tennis club, and participated in various tournament in my time there. I have also participated in table tennis tournaments. In my time playing sports, I have learnt to partake in a healthy balanced lifestyle and became proficient in working collaboratively with others.
