Summary

I am a qualified and experienced project manager working for the last 10 years with Bega Valley Shire Council (BVSC) and Senior Project Officer for NPWS for 10 months in a variety of infrastructure and services roles. I have managed the post natural disaster construction works following the devastating bush fires of 2019/2020. Added to this have been the floods of 2022 which have taken the local recovery bill for bridges, embankments, and roads to $40+ million. I currently lead a team of 3 project officers. Having experience managing and coordinating larger teams from diverse disciplines. Much of the work requires liaison with a variety of stakeholders, ranging from local residents, businesses and special interest bodies such as environmental protection. Their diverse interests often require sensitive and diplomatic handling. The work requires to be across many processes such as tendering, procurement, contract management, budgeting and the systems used for interacting with other departments of government at all levels. I am now looking to progress to a role with a wider scope and strong environmental involvement.
