Maintenance Electrician for RC95 (Rail Camp 95). On a back to back roster I shared this role with a dual trade refrigeration mechanic/electrician.

• Responsible for routine and responsive maintenance to two 1 megawatt generators.
• I performed responsive/routine maintenance to commercial cooking equipment (Moffatt), split system A/C units as well as all things light and power related.
• Set up/decommissioned temp power for portable buildings along the rail line as the project progressed.
• Test + Tag and RCD tests

Construction Electrician on the RC95 project for FMG Eliwana mine. This was a 450 man camp that included:

• All underground works starting from two 1 megawatt generators.
• Installation of roughly 115 accommodation buildings
• Installation of commercial kitchen
• Installation of the wastewater treatment plant
• Facilities such as rec room, gym, toilet blocks, administration office etc

During my time with RTS I both led and was a part of many construction, renovation and maintenance works. For clients such as QLD Government, Gold Coast City Council, private and many small businesses

• Rewire school classroom blocks to meet modern communication and power needs

Inpex LNG gas refinery project Darwin. My main role was to provide temporary power/communications during the construction of the gas refinery,

• Set up communications and power to portable building and container setups. Such as site offices, crib rooms, mechanic workshops etc
• Install temp power systems for construction
• Test + tag

Same as above. Been working on/off with RTS for a long time with domestic, commercial, state government and council works.

During this time I completed my apprenticeship plus a few months post trade. With QBuild (Department of Public Works, Queensland Government) I learnt all the fundamentals of the trade gaining experience in the following areas.

• Domestic construction, installation and fault finding
• Communal power installations for large residential complexes
• Office fitouts; power and communications
• School classroom block renewal.
• Natural disaster response (eg Brisbane floods) Testing, repair and re-commission for schools.
