- Since completing my Master 24m & then 45m in 2012 my role was full time 45m skipper of various vessels
- Towing & pushing cages, barges and other vessels
- Heavy vehicle loading/transporting on landing barge vessel
- Fuel and cargo loading & deliveries (we regularly do 250ton feed deliveries to our barges)
- Mooring system work using cranes and heavy deck machinery
- Fish net deployment & retrievals

- Smolt transfers & deliveries (The young Smolt are transferred from trucks to large tanks on deck for delivery to cages)
- Setting up Safety Management Plans, writing procedures, risk assessment, routine & preventative maintenance systems & organizing Surveys

- To gain some extra experience I worked for Navigators part time as a second Job for 12 months as skipper of the 'Ena' & 'Marana', which are both high speed passenger Catamarans with the largest being 35m
