Geraldton ,WA

Summary

Started as an apprentice at Geraldton's regional branch where the work consisted of machine overhauls, component rebuilds and diagnostics. I then ventured across to the field as a independent field tech. The work consisted of diagnostics (electrical and mechanical), small and large component change outs, onsite component rebuilds and performing product support across various sites across a large range of Caterpillar equipment.

During my time as a field tech I have had the opportunity to work across an extensive range of equipment from construction/civil, marine applications, power generation, on-highway trucks, earth works, small/large scale open cut mining and underground mining. As of recently i have moved into a full-time product support role at the Karara operations south east of Geraldton.
