• Overhaul and rebuild of various underground long wall mining operations equipment according to OEM manufactor specifications and the overhaul and testing of various pressure safety valves and regulating hydraulic valves.

• Performing technical support, repairs, maintenance, and servicing to THIESS mining and earth moving machinery across the hunter valley open cut coal mines.

• Performing maintenance, repair and servicing to John Holland's plant machinery fleet, training and mentoring apprentices through there four year apprenticeships, lead field service rolls across NSW construction and infrastructure sites and performing compliance checks and electronic logging of site vehicles and machinery.

• Performing workshop based repairs, maintenance and servicing to catapillar earth moving and construction machinery.

• Performing repairs, service and preventative maintenance to John Holland's fleet of cranes, trucks, utility vehicles and ancillary construction machinery in a workshop environment and across NSW infrastructure and civil construction work sites as a field service plant mechanic representative for John Holland Pty Ltd.

• To ensure the day to day running of the business which involved serving customers in a polite and well presented form, ensured shop shelves were stocked and presented well, ensuring shop stock levels were correct and ordering as needed, training new employees, opening/closing the shop on the weekends and relaying the end of day takings to the business owner.

Completed a cert II in retail operation.

• To sell papers on a designated rout through the community of stockton and Fern Bay from a specially designed papper wheel barrow, handling of money from sales of newspapers on a Sunday morning.
