  • 1978 - 1982 : Trainee Hotel manager with President Hotels learning all facets of the Hotel Industry at The Broadbeach International Hotel on Gold Coast, Crest International Hotel Brisbane and Townsville International Hotel learning all facets of the major hotel trade from reception, bar service, stocktaking and management through to kitchen and food preparation to 5 star restaurant service finalising my last year manager of General Jackson's night club at Brisbane's Crest Hotel under Mr Harvey Lister and Rod Pilbeam
  • 1982 - 83 : Assistant Manager Mona Vale Hotel (whilst playing Rugby for Warringah Rats RUC overseeing all aspects of the hotel from ordering, staff rostering, bar management and helping to book the bands that played in the hotels band room
  • 1983 - 84 : Manager Licensee of the Rose bay Hotel in Sydney (whilst working under Tooth's Brewery managed Hotels)
  • 1984 - 86 : Managed and booked Sydney's largest music venue Selina's at Coogee Bay Hotel, booking the biggest bands in the country from The Angels, Midnight Oil, Hunters & Collectors, Jimmy Barnes, Nick Cave and where I meet the band Divinyls in 1986, who I then managed for 11 years taking them to #1 globally with their single 'I Touch Myself' - creating a co management deal in 1991 with Madonna's manager Mr Freddie De Mann
  • 1995 - 2000 -: Created International Touring Company and started promoting major artists such as Barry Manilow, Culture Club, Belinda Carlisle, Deep Purple, Status Quo, Bryan Ferry and many others I 2000 I also produced the Farewell tour of KISS, with it's final concert at Carrara Stadium on the Gold Coast with Alice Cooper and Screaming Jets
  • 2000 - 2017 : On selling ITC to Abigroup, I commenced Andrew McManus Presents building the company at it's peak in 2012 with a turnover of $40Million, 19 staff and 3rd biggest promoter in Australasia Promoting Fleetwood Mac, The Who, KISS / Motley Crue, Def Leppard, Diana Ross, Kelly Clarkson, Chris Isaak, Kenny Rodgers, Andrea Bocelli, David Byrne, Stevie Nicks, Meatloaf , Snoop Dogg, Ice Cube, Blondie, Simple Minds, Peter Frampton and many morewhilst building the brand, taking front row during the VRC Melbourne Cup on Millionaire's row in the Bird Cage for 5 years (The marquee to be seen in) and a highlight was KISS Symphony at the then Telstra Dome with the Melbourne Symphony Orchestra (all wearing KISS makeup)
  • 2027 - today : One World Entertainment was formed with business partner Melanie Holloway who we ran Ragamuffin Music Festival , Under the Southern Stars (Southport Sharks, Broadwater Park Lands) KISS at CBUS Stadium and recently The World is a Vampire festival featuring The Smashing Pumpkins and Jane's Addiction - again at Broadwater Parkland's) IL DIVO at HOTA in it's first seated and ticketed event, along with numerous artists at Jupiter's / The Star show room including Boyzone, America, Jerry Lewis, Air Supply, Human Leagueand just recently Don McLean playing 4 shows at Twin Towns this past Easter
