Additional Information

  • Has been an active social worker in a blind school for children. My responsibility was to make audiobooks and clear any doubts the students had. During this time I had an opportunity to assess them and closely monitor their medical needs while focusing on their social needs. It gave me immense satisfaction that I was able to help those Children.
  • Has also been an active member of an NGO "Robin Hood Army" . Collection of food from restaurant partners and distribution among the homeless. I did this over 7 months and was able to reach more than 2500 people. During this period I had an opportunity to talk to homeless people and assess their medical needs. I was then able to refer them to appropriate medical facilities based on their medical examination. I also had an opportunity to learn different ways of communication which helped me develop rapport with the less fortunate people.
