Also supervising complex traffic management (Malvern Rd) as well as precast panel installation, services and road closures for certain works.
Also of significant note was the strict issues of social distancing and increased OHS and WHS guidelines needing daily and even hourly managing of workers to allocated spaces due to COVID 19.

$25M 56 apartments Carlisle St St Kilda. Hammerhead crane…Single level basement with car stackers and four levels over. Carried out all facets of site set up (gantry) and building set out for site cuts and piling and capping beams. Set up crane base.
$8M Fairly Court Sth Yarra. Apartments...Heritage listed corner property. Double storey solid brick (1930’s) with 2 x full dbl storey street frontages being retained. Extensive protection works / facade retention including careful installation of steel superstructure to both inside and outside of the building all prior to any demolition.
All demolition from first floor and roof by hand only, so as to painstakingly disconnect the facade from all adjoining walls. Every face brick removed by hand, cleaned and stored for reuse. Finally getting drilling rigs on site to commence piling so as to excavate entire site for new basement carpark. Install 2 new ‘PT” slabs and re connect the old facade with the new roof structure.
Site logistics were impossible as building occupies 95% of the site. People, neighbour management was paramount with noise, dust, and especially parking and deliveries a daily issue. Traffic management also was second to none with Melb Girls Grammar only a few doors down.

$10M Grey St. St Kilda, 34 apartments including full refurbishment/ restoration of existing ‘circa’ 1875 (heritage listed) boarding house. 15 apartments ‘moulded’ into heritage building and further 19 built in new 3 storey wing behind. Extremely challenging with security and public safety, traffic, parking and basically no space anywhere. Worked closely with consulting heritage and contract architects, Engineers and Consultants, Local Council, both Federal and State Govt. (DHS and EPA)...(site cut/ spoil was heavily contaminated with briquette/coal residue). Fastidious record keeping for EPA as well as OH&S reporting to maintain Govt. accreditation
