Summary

I am a passionate Educator, who strives to do my absolute best in catering for all levels of student's development. I believe all teaching staff play a vital role in all student's lives, and are the reason as to how they experience their school journey. I believe that each and every student should feel heard, welcome and supported in each of their year levels. Each student is unique and should also be catered for in that manner, ensuring they all receive the guidance and support throughout their learning to set them up for a successful future. Being apart of the education system is an honour and a privilege, as it allows me to play a positive and supportive role in student's a journey.

This career will help in building on my skills, which are essential for being a successful Youth and Community activator. I can confidently work both independently and in a team environment and I have experience in both of these environments. I am able to communicate effectively with all of my coworkers and peers, and I have experience in dealing with difficult customers. I’ve developed skills to engage effectively in all situations and always seek to achieve a positive outcome. I thoroughly enjoy connecting with children and families on their level, helping them feeling safe and understood. I strive to continuously grow on my knowledge and skills regarding with children and communities, so I am always open for any constructive feedback and advice. I was privileged to be nominated as Vice-Captain of my school in 2016, where I completed over a 100 hours of community service and will continue to live my passion of being an outstanding and serving community member. Throughout my time working as an OSHC Educator and Responsible Person I have also completed numerous Personal Development courses, such as Child Protection, Cultural Awareness and Dealing with Children with Trauma.
