The Homelessness Advocacy Service provides statewide advocacy to people who have a complaint with DFFH funded homelessness service, social housing providers and rooming houses in Victoria (this includes family violence refuges, THM, rooming houses)

• Homelessness Advocacy Service upholds and assists consumer's rights in accessing a service from government funded services and prevents consumers from being evicted through agency's internal grievance policies, VCAT, VEOHRC, and other complaints mechanisms.
• Managed complex caseloads with diligence, prioritizing tasks to ensure timely resolution of cases.
• Established trusting relationships with clients by maintaining open lines of communication throughout entire representation process.
• Improved overall client satisfaction rates by promptly addressing concerns or issues with proposed solutions.
• Supported individuals with legal, physical, or mental health concerns in dealing with routine needs and complex problems.
