Summary

During my 30 years in the early childhood sector, I have developed extensive skills and knowledge in child development theory, pedagogy and practice, leadership and contemporary issues in early childhood education.

As a passionate advocate, teacher and leader I have held a range of positions that have enabled me to apply my highly developed skills and attitudes to build effective teams, guide individuals and to foster positive organisational learning environments.

Through my effective communication, organisational and interpersonal skills, I currently lead online and face- to face reflective practice discussions statewide for Gowrie QLD as their only educational leader mentor.

I am actively engaged in and committed to ongoing professional development, which maintains my drive for excellence.

Through my voluntary position as an ordinary member of the Early Childhood Australia state committee (Qld) and leader of the state subcommittee for Under 8's week, I continue to collaborate professionally with numerous stakeholders and demonstrate commitment to advocacy for children.
