During the completion of my Cert III in Animal care services, I participated in voluntary vocational placement at Animal Welfare League to gain hands on experience in the animal industry. Thanks to my volunteering experience in the AWL Veterinary clinic in Biggera Waters, I have acquired skills on:
- Safe and secure animal handling
- Monitoring animal health and wellbeing
- Animal diet and nutrition, as well as feeding routines
- Workplace health and safety regulations
- Maintaining cleanliness and infection control
- Behavioural analysis and management
