I am a father of two children attending Junior Kelvin Grove School. My younger child is in prep class, and the other is in 3rd grade. Previously, I worked as a sales and marketing director in Hanoi, Vietnam. However, when my family moved to Australia in May 2023, I began working as a kitchen assistant. I worked continuously at Teys Australia's canteen, where I learned to prepare food confidently, clean the kitchen and dishes, and set up necessary equipment and materials to facilitate chefs during day-to-day operations. Besides, I also gained skills in cashier positions and collaborated with staff members to maintain a positive working environment.
I am interested in applying for a job at Tuckshop because it is my children's school. It would be very convenient for me to take care of my children and have more opportunities to contribute my energy and support to the school when events require many people to support. My wife has also volunteered during maths, reading, and writing support sessions since last May.

I have been working as a kitchen assistant and cashier at Teys Australia's canteen in Beenleigh, Queensland, since July 2023. I work two shifts every day, from 10 am to 9 pm, serving food to 1500 workers.
My job involves preparing food, keeping kitchens clean and organised, and assisting the cooks with various tasks. I am also responsible for cooking Vietnamese simple dishes and operating the cash register. Essentially, my job requires me to be an all-rounder in the kitchen.
Some of my specific duties include:
- mopping the floors at the start and end of shifts, .
- cleaning and sanitising kitchen work surfaces (counters, sinks, stoves, and walls).
- washing cookware, utensils, and cutlery for continuous use during shifts.
- arranging equipment and ingredients as per the chef's instructions.
- and organising food and supply storage areas while keeping them clean
- When the workers come to buy meals, I provide them with food and collect payments from them.
