In my position as Centre Managing Director/ Nominated Supervisor, I have been responsible for the following: - Supporting, developing and maintaining relationships and partnerships with all stakeholders; inclusive of : families, local and broader community and schools - Ensuring equity for all - Positively Facilitating Kindergarten children’s Transition to school - Supervision of staff/ HR Related matters in regard to creating positive Culture and classroom programming - Recruiting, training and appraisal of staff - Creating a safe, diverse and caring environment for children, families and staff - Research, compiling information inclusive of data analysis to develop and update policies, procedures, implementation of best practice to improve outcomes for children and families - Submitting data evidence driven precise reports timely to all internal and external stakeholders - Communication correspondence (written and verbal) with all internal and external stakeholders - Implementing the standards of the National Childcare Accreditation Council standards/ National Quality Framework and submitting associated paperwork - Implementing current child care legislation, licensing regulations and centre policies - Policy development and review - Parent and staff education - Updating centre handbooks in conjunction with parents and staff - Developing, updating and examining staff position descriptions - Marketing, accessing local government planning documents on development. i- to inform marketing strategies and actions - Implementing occupational health and safety - Operating within a budget and fundraising - Staff wages - Weekly rosters - Maintaining a mutually agreeable Occupancy - Organize a yearly calendar of events for children, staff & parents - Abiding by the Code of Ethics and Privacy Act - Implementing the EYLF curriculum and supporting documentation - Evaluating staff programming - Overseeing After School Care Program
