As a registered nurse, I was responsible for delivering direct patient care, administering medications, monitoring vital signs, and managing patient documentation. I collaborated closely with the multidisciplinary team to develop and implement care plans, ensuring patient safety and comfort. My role also involved supporting patients and families through health education, emotional support, and post-discharge care instructions. This experience helped me enhance my clinical judgment, time management, and communication skills in a fast-paced healthcare environment.

I worked as a trainee nurse (intern) at a government hospital, where I gained hands-on experience in providing patient care under the supervision of registered nurses. During this period, I assisted with vital signs monitoring, personal hygiene care, documentation, and medication preparation. I had the opportunity to rotate through various departments, including medical, surgical, and emergency units, which helped me understand different clinical procedures and hospital protocols. This internship strengthened my clinical skills, improved my confidence in patient interaction, and gave me practical exposure to real hospital settings.
