• Used my extensive knowledge and skills of differentiation and catering for students with special needs to assist in the early detection and support of a range of students with varying disabilities.

• Collaborated with class teachers to create, implemented and manage high quality programmes to increase student comprehension for a range of different ability levels (including students with reading disabilities) within the classroom.
• Implemented an intensive targeted programme focusing on building synthetic phonic skills and expand the High Frequency word bank in students with reading difficulties to increase their ability to decode texts.
• Managed a team of community volunteers, training teacher-aides and teacher-aides at the school to improve learning outcomes and support children with learning difficulties.
• Lead the first implementation of the National Consistent Collection of Data (NCCD).

• Collaborated with the Principal to determine the literacy goals for Kindergarten, Pre-Primary and Years 1-7 to achieve a growth in outcomes for all students.
• Co-ordinate with the teachers on each grade to develop a set of strategies to achieve the goals set in the school plan.
• Worked with the teachers to co-design and implement a spelling program based on synthetic phonics (Dianna Riggs) for each grade from Years 1 to 7 to cater for all students.

• Assisted ASTI students in years 4 and 6 who rated below the benchmark in state and national testing through targeted interventions in Mathematics and English to improve educational outcomes.
• Built strong relationships based on trust and respect with the students, their parents or guardians, class teachers and Aboriginal Teacher- aides who supported them on a daily basis in the classroom.
• Designed and implemented authentic differentiated lessons that encouraged students to develop and apply their knowledge in real-world contexts and accommodate various learning styles and abilities.
