Summary

CAREER OBJECTIVES I have always had an interest in working with youth since becoming a coach at the age of 16. I have always had a person-centered focus and a priority is to support children to reach their potential. I endeavour to build and maintain professional relationships with parents, stakeholders and colleagues. Utilising my experience in different educational disciplines to guide and provide students with the perfect environment to enhance their growth is my passion. I have always used evidence-based strategies to assist in motivating children to become responsible and motivated students. Working collaboratively with staff, stakeholders and families to enhance learning opportunities in an inclusive environment is at the forefront of my profession. I am extremely passionate about supporting inclusive practice and allowing every child to succeed through adapting pedagogy, learning experiences, and access to the curriculum through whatever measure is necessary.

Versatile inclusion teacher with a focus on individual student needs across academia and emotional development. I am empathetic and accommodating in design and implementation of hands-on lessons, catering to diverse learning abilities. I am proficient in employing constant communication, patience and positive reinforcement in team efforts to deliver exceptional educational tools, fostering academic achievement.

Family and friends are priority and I love to explore our gorgeous country. My time off work is currently best spent playing and coaching sport, hiking and exploring the outdoors especially in my beautiful home, Southeast Queensland. As well, I enjoy listening to and playing a variety of music and practicing self-care techniques such as ice baths, breathwork and gym. I am a sports enthusiast. On holiday I am happiest spending time fishing and exploring new beaches with my family.
