I am a highly motivated early childhood educator, possessing strong contemporary professional knowledge and have experience working and teaching in a diverse range of fields and contexts. Through my professional and life experience, I have developed excellent skills in many areas, such as, effective communication, the ability to see different perspectives as well as building positive reciprocal relationships. I encourage diversity and inclusivity, being reflective, flexible, creative and innovative and work both independently and collaboratively to achieve shared goals and promote a culture of excellence. Completing a Bachelor of Education in Early Childhood Studies in July 2024 at Edith Cowan University has provided me with the knowledge, skills and tools to continue my passion for teaching into an early childhood educator role. I am a highly motivated and organised professional, who is energetic and passionate. I have the skills to intentionally plan and implement engaging experiences for students to learn and grow, encouraging them to build social and emotional capacity, problem solving skills and develop effective literacy and numeracy skills. My inspiration for teaching and learning is strength-based and holistic. Guided by the WA Curriculum and The Early Years Learning Framework, my practice encompasses theoretical perspectives through a play-based approach, encouraging and engaging children through purposeful and meaningful learning experiences. My warm, kind nature inspires a positive energy and environment to support students’ learning and development, creating a welcoming, safe space for students, families, community and colleagues.
